Spawning a New Generation of American Metal
Goose bumps from sonic intercourse. Ever had them?
Mozart was haunted by visions of his dead father.
We are haunted by visions of death and horror.
Extrapolating the fury and energy buried within.
Pounding the skulls of the uninitiated.
This is American Metal.
Ever feel it?
Thousands of watts of pure soul poured out in decible increments.
Bleeding ear syndrome.
The Experiment has brought fruition.
Two Engineers by day and Mad Metal Scientists by night.
Full moon or naught.
Wolfsbane is non conscequential.
This Creature is Alive
Alive.
This is the Laborotory.
The Lab.
The studio is complete and being used as intended.
A weapon of Mass Destruction.
Debut CD is on the way.
The studio has been a work of our own hands. We are Americans, we do everything.
Now the Lab is wrought and the Creature is being assembled.
The Creature of nightmares, pure drop tuned fury. Islamic radicals wish they had this internal fortitude. And we do it for fun, and relaxation.
No platitudes to the simplistic wannabes, they can F off.
This is America.
CD's soon for all my fans.
Diablo rides the lightning with the ESP LTD Viper, powered by Mesa (Engineering)Boogie (all tube for you old timers)

Rock On Dudes!
Me too, me too!
Can I be third?
Cool...waiting patiently
Thank everyone. Yes a free copy will be sent when ready, even if only used as a coaster for your beverage containers! LOL.
I will let you know when it is ready. We burned a song complete minus vocals and it gives me goosebumps knowing it is us and the quality is awesome.
Having been a metal afficionado since before the beginning, I am very interested in hearing the CD!
I began my introduction to hard rock by listening to WABX in Detroit in the late Sixties and can fondly remember listening to sides of new albums like Hendrix's Electric Lady Land and the Beatles Abbey Road on that station. I bought Ten Years After's "A Space in Time" in 1971 when it came out (my first album purchase) and my parents bought me Black Sabbath's "Master of Reality" for a Christmas present in that same year.
I'm a huge fan of the guitar, having enjoyed such guitar wizards as Clapton, Roy Buchanan, Brian Setzer, and many more.
I wish I could play but haven't had the time and dedication to actually learn it yet. My son plays a bit and has some cool guitar gadgets and a decent strat copy. He also has a Crate half stack.
BTW, Libby, I see you play with the old stuff. I think I remember reading that Brian Setzer and the Stray Cats recorded one of their albums on a studio completely powered with tubes.
I thought that was cool.
Beerme,
Cool. Wabx was in its final days when I got into music. WLLZ and of course "The Riff" were my listening posts. The deal with the Tube Amps is you can not duplicate the sound with Solid State Electronics. Diablo doesn't use any effects other than the natural sound built into the Mesa Amp. It has three distinct channels and a massive sound. Tubes still rule! I on the other hand prefer Solid State Amps as I just need Clean pure sound. Sometimes however I do run my Bass through a distortion pedal to thicken up our sound.
Beeme, BTW the first song we have begun recording is oddly enough called " Beer Me B!tch" LOL.
Libby,
The days of WABX ended around 1971 or 72 and they became just another commercial station. Until then, the DJs would hang out and play whatever they wanted, including whole sides of albums and say anything they wanted (as a teenager it was soooo cool to hear them cussing on the air-though now it does seem silly). After they changed a new station came on the scene out of Canada that sort of took over for them as the new hip station, CJOM.
Rock on, Libby! Beerme B it ch! sounds like my kinda tune!
Libby, soon as they hear the first note, they'll all run for the hills! We'll have to pay THEM to listen.
diablo,
One note can't do that. Now I have heard two manage it...
I haven't really been into heavy metal since the 70's, but every once in awhile I'll dust off some the oldies.
Wishing you success and satisfaction...
(:D) Regards
Very eloquent!
When I'm not soothing my raw nerves with classical music, I listen to headbanger music. Megadeth and Shinedown are especial favorites.
Old-school arena rock on the level of Blue Oyster Cult, and esoteric artists like Roy Harper also make the cut when I go to the CDs.
Please don't leave me off your promotional distribution list when your project is complete! I'll review it for UPI.
Too cool!
I also grew up on Megadeth. Dave Mustaine is a very underated guitarst.
Elements of Pantera, Slayer, Seputura, Acid Bath, Hatebreed etc, all define our sound at our heaviest moments.
Sorry all for no posts lately, busy in the dungeon. We have the drum tracks for 6 songs recorded, 3 have guitar, bass, and vocals. These are being final mixed and prepped for the debut. I will let everyone know when ready, probably by week of 8/21/06. Very neat experience listening to your own band on a CD!
Libby, these poor people are going to run for the hills if you have them listen to our melarchy.
Besides, we need a solid band name before we can distribute this noise.
New post! New post! New post! [banging fist on mousepad]

I agree MARGEINMI. Libby has quite a unique view on POLITICAL events, I am even surprised he hasn't posted anything yet on the recent British SWAT team victory. Hopefully soon??? Huh Libby????
